Working for Marketplace Creative, the brief was to develop a series of magazine adverts for European Golf Design – the golf course design company of IMG and The European Tour – that would grab the readers’ attention, tell them who EGD are and give an insight into the company’s personality. The aim was also to help them stand out in a very safe and conservative market. The adverts appeared in leading golf industry publications. EGD became the talk of the industry, causing a real stir with the campaign. They quickly differentiated themselves, building a really dynamic profile. |

It was created to have maximum impact in a publication (and industry) filled to saturation with perfect, softly lit, colour golf course shots (*yawn*). We used gritty, witty, monochrome snapshots filled with character and personality." |
